About Spellbook
Spellbook builds AI-powered software designed for transactional lawyers and legal teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts directly inside Microsoft Word. The platform serves law firms, in-house legal teams, and solo practitioners across multiple countries to help simplify workflows and increase efficiency in contract review and document management.
The company utilizes large language models to help legal professionals automate standard checklists, redline agreements, and extract insights. Its technology is built to meet legal-grade confidentiality standards, including SOC 2 Type II compliance, with zero data retention policies ensuring that LLM providers do not train on or store user data.
The open roles indicate that Spellbook is building distributed teams across customer success, sales engineering, product, and software engineering. The company offers numerous remote positions primarily based in Canada and the United States, alongside office-based roles in locations such as Toronto and St. John's, encompassing individual contributor positions as well as management and leadership tiers.
