Role Overview

Spellbook is hiring a remote Legal Solutions Architect, Pre Sales for a full-time position based in the US or Canada. This role is well-suited for a transactional lawyer with three to five years of experience who wants to move beyond billable hours into product strategy and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in sales calls, product demonstrations, and RFP responses as an in-house legal expert to support account executives.
Build training materials, playbooks, documentation, and thought-leadership content for in-house legal teams.
Represent the organization at industry events, webinars, and continuing legal education sessions.
Convert actual transactional workflows into actionable software features and product improvements.
Collaborate in feature discovery, testing, and translating user feedback into product requirements.

Requirements

Qualified lawyer possessing three to five years of transactional legal background, preferably combining law firm and in-house experience.
Extensive knowledge of contract review, drafting, and negotiation processes.
Familiarity with large language models within the current artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Self-motivated mindset with strong product intuition and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
Cross-functional collaboration skills involving product managers, engineers, sales staff, and clients.
Clear communication abilities when presenting to business and legal stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Background working inside or alongside a Software as a Service or legal technology organization.
Knowledge of business-to-business sales workflows or customer enablement.
Technical curiosity and experience collaborating with engineering and product departments.
