The Solutions Director position at Nearform is a permanent full-time remote role based in the United Kingdom focused on crafting and positioning advanced digital solutions. Key Responsibilities
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to cultivate client relationships and drive growth through artificial intelligence innovation.
Function as a primary subject matter expert across cloud, software, data, and AI technologies to diagnose client challenges and design impactful solutions.
Direct pre-sales activities, including crafting proposals, managing RFP responses, and building proof-of-concepts.
Translate enterprise client goals into strategic solution roadmaps alongside software, design, and data engineering specialists.
Guide initial project execution phases to guarantee smooth handoffs from pre-sales strategy to active delivery.
Produce compelling case studies and success stories in coordination with cross-functional teams to highlight technological outcomes.
Contribute to internal practice expansion by defining new approaches, sharing best practices, and driving technical innovation.
Requirements
Bring twelve or more years of professional background spanning software engineering and technical leadership within digital services, consulting, or pre-sales.
Demonstrate practical knowledge in cloud environments, solution architecture, software design, and AI-native engineering principles.
Capable of running productive stakeholder workshops to map out use cases and clarify solution trade-offs.
Maintain working proficiency in at least one software development language such as Python or JavaScript.
Apply hands-on experience with Generative AI tools, foundation models, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation suites.
Display a robust grasp of data pipelines, cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure, and broader AI ecosystems.
Communicate intricate technical concepts clearly to diverse non-technical or executive audiences.
Prove a successful history of engaging executive leadership at the VP and C-levels within large enterprise accounts.
