Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the production health, technical roadmap, architecture, and ongoing development of dovetail.com.
Translate creative and marketing strategies into responsive, accessible, and high-craft web interactions.
Develop the platform infrastructure behind the pages, including reusable components, design tokens, typed content models, and deployment workflows.
Partner with Demand Generation and Growth teams to build and optimize high-converting landing pages, forms, and personalized user journeys.
Enhance site speed, search visibility, and reliability by optimizing Core Web Vitals, page weight, image delivery, and accessibility.
Integrate coding agents and AI-assisted workflows to drive efficiency in testing, QA, migrations, and content operations.
Set engineering standards through detailed code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and clear architectural decisions.

Requirements

Five or more years of hands-on experience building production web applications and experiences.
Deep technical command of React and TypeScript, alongside strong expertise in core fundamentals like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser behavior, and networking.
Demonstrated aesthetic and functional taste, with strict attention to typography, spacing, motion, and responsive design details.
Practical, hands-on familiarity with modern AI coding tools and agents like Claude or Codex, integrating them thoughtfully into daily engineering workflows.
Proven ability to build end-to-end web platforms, spanning architecture, build tooling, deployment, and developer experience.
Strong focus on accessibility and web performance, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and real-user metric improvements.
Strong collaborative skills and a bias toward action in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with NextJS, GraphQL, Emotion, Netlify, Buildkite, Segment, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
