Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical leadership by actively coding, troubleshooting, reviewing code, and establishing coding patterns.
Manage projects end-to-end from conception to production, focusing on AI-powered features utilizing LLMs, retrieval, search, evaluations, and safety guardrails.
Mentor team members and conduct thorough code reviews to elevate engineering standards.
Ensure operational excellence through rigorous testing, reliability management, and adherence to business timelines.

Requirements

Bring six or more years of software development experience with a focus on outcomes and team direction.
Possess strong full-stack experience in backend services, APIs, frontends, databases, and search technologies, or comparable experience in another modern stack.
Demonstrate practical experience building AI-powered product features including LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, or search relevance.
Exhibit strong execution, debugging, communication, and testing priorities.

Nice to Have

Experience with multimodal embeddings, search, agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain, and domain-specific model fine-tuning.
Background in e-commerce or marketplace products.
