Role Overview

Retell AI transforms the call center industry using voice artificial intelligence to handle logistics, sales, and support calls. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, the professional chosen will shape the core voice automation platform by designing reliable systems and polished interfaces that support millions of AI-driven conversations. Working directly with the founding team, the engineer bridges backend architecture, including telephony integrations and prompt orchestration, with frontend components like analytics tools and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement core features such as prompt orchestration, analytics tools, dashboards, and telephony integrations.
Construct scalable full-stack systems ranging from reliable APIs and DevOps workflows to refined user interfaces.
Steer projects completely from initial architecture through production, managing deployment, coding, and continuous iteration.
Develop clean APIs and intuitive interfaces that allow customers to complete onboarding within hours.
Assist with customer onboarding, troubleshoot operational issues, and translate feedback into direct product improvements.

Requirements

Possess at least two years of full-stack professional experience utilizing Python, React, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Hold a degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrate founder-like ownership by proactively solving complex technical problems across the entire technology stack.
Adapt quickly to shifting challenges and new tools within a rapid, fast-paced environment.
Communicate clearly and collaborate smoothly within small, dynamic engineering teams.
