Role Overview

UiPath is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Bangalore office to join the Vertical Solutions team. The position focuses on building an AI agentic orchestration platform that coordinates AI agents, robots, and human-in-the-loop workflows. The engineer will collaborate with the Maestro backend team on high-visibility strategic products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the full stack for Vertical Solutions products using AI coding assistants.
Write production-quality daily code leveraging AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot.
Prototype ideas, validate them with real customers, and transition valuable concepts into production systems.
Design evaluations to measure system quality honestly against real customer data.
Translate customer needs into technical solutions with a customer-centric engineering approach.
Build highly scalable, reliable distributed systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Seven plus years of software engineering experience, including four plus years focused on distributed systems and backend architecture.
Full-stack knowledge with frontend systems like React and backend systems in Python and/or C#.
Experience building production AI systems such as LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and orchestration frameworks.
Experience designing resilient distributed systems featuring idempotency, state management, and long-running jobs.
Proficiency in system-level languages, object-oriented programming, cloud ecosystems, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

Experience with healthcare tech, finance tech, or procurement tech systems.
Data science and evaluation background, including applied machine learning and RAG systems.
Large-scale data platform experience with Snowflake or columnar warehouses.
Background in startups, applied research, or zero-to-one product environments.
