Role Overview

UiPath is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) in Bangalore to drive the entire software development lifecycle for the UiPath Automation Suite. The position involves leading a team of engineers, incubating new ideas, establishing engineering practices, and ensuring software deliverables meet strict quality, security, and scalability standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead software development from initial ideation and design to implementation and scaling while ensuring reliability and production readiness.
Incubate new ideas, create roadmaps, and analyze complex technical issues to communicate choices to stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between engineers, product managers, and partners, while helping hire technical talent.
Ensure deliverables meet requirements for security, modifiability, testability, and extensibility.
Establish agile engineering practices and mentor team members.
Analyze product usage data to drive systemic improvements and adhere to compliance standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience developing large-scale applications.
In-depth knowledge of the CNCF ecosystem, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Go, C#, Java, C++, Python, or Rust, with strong computer science fundamentals.
Hands-on expertise in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, multithreading, and synchronization.
Advanced knowledge of Linux, CI/CD pipelines including Azure Pipelines, ArgoCD, and FluxCD, along with microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and building high-availability web services.

Nice to Have

Expertise in writing Kubernetes controllers and operators.
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS environments.
Familiarity with LLMs and Generative AI for application development.
