Role Overview

Retell AI transforms customer experience by building intelligent voice agents that handle sales, support, and logistics calls for major brands. As a Senior Product Manager, the individual will take end-to-end ownership of core product areas that power millions of AI-driven conversations. The position involves working across real-time audio, telephony workflows, agent behavior, and developer tools to create fast, reliable, and intuitive products that serve as the industry standard.

Key Responsibilities

Own customer outcomes for essential product features, including voice agent behavior, onboarding, testing, and AI-driven automation.
Establish product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics rooted in real customer pain, adoption rates, and business impact.
Engage directly with users, review call transcripts, and participate in onboarding and support sessions to uncover unmet needs.
Author clear, outcome-driven PRDs defining customer problems, user journeys, and proposed solution concepts.
Integrate competitive and market insights into product strategy to ensure strong differentiation.
Partner closely with engineering to design scalable solutions and evaluate technical tradeoffs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CX, and Customer Success teams to capture buying signals, objections, and rollout blockers.
Work alongside design to shape end-to-end user experiences through early problem framing and low-fidelity sketches.
Drive cross-functional execution by planning, sequencing, and tracking product initiatives for timely delivery.
Validate solutions early using prototypes, betas, and rapid iterations.
Establish customer-focused product rituals, including evidence-based roadmap planning and impact-driven prioritization frameworks.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, ideally building B2B or product-led growth (PLG) products.
Comfort thriving in high-velocity startup environments characterized by ambiguity, fast iteration, and high ownership.
Deep customer obsession, with a habit of talking to users and turning feedback into concrete action.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, design, sales, and other partners.
Founder-level ownership and a strong bias toward action with urgency and accountability.
High organization and execution-oriented mindset to create clarity in evolving spaces.

Nice to Have

Experience working on artificial intelligence products.
Prior experience working specifically with voice AI technologies, paired with curiosity and technical adaptability.
