Retell AI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the team in the San Francisco Bay Area for a full-time position. This role is ideal for an ambitious builder with over five years of experience who wants to create intuitive design systems for cutting-edge voice AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire product design lifecycle, moving from early conceptual ideas and PRDs to fully shipped features utilized in high-stakes environments.
Translate complex technical workflows into clear, user-friendly experiences for interacting with real-time AI voice agents.
Collaborate closely with software engineers and company founders to ensure high design standards reach production.
Engage directly with customers through interviews and feedback sessions to solve genuine user pain points.
Identify product friction and elevate overall user experience standards across all core features.
Build, expand, and maintain the company design system to support future growth and consistency.
Maintain an uncompromising focus on visual clarity, usability, and exceptional design craft.
Help steer future product direction using strong design rationale and taste-driven decisions.

Requirements

Bring at least 5 years of professional experience working as a Product Designer on successfully shipped products.
Demonstrate a solid background in user-centered design principles, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
Exhibit outstanding product taste, visual clarity, and a sharp sense of hierarchy and usability.
Possess meticulous attention to detail regarding product polish and consistency.
Thrive when collaborating tightly with engineers, product managers, and founders.
Enjoy managing open-ended problems end-to-end within a fast-moving startup environment.
