Role Overview

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP will shape the future of AI-driven enterprise solutions by creating data-driven products for contact centers. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced machine learning techniques to solve complex customer needs.
Tackle diverse natural language processing challenges including voice agents, agentic applications, text classification, entity extraction, and summarization using large language models.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate and upgrade artificial intelligence solutions into existing company products.
Optimize current machine learning models to maximize performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Implement and evaluate reasoning, planning, and memory modules for autonomous agents.
Construct, deploy, and maintain scalable production-grade natural language processing pipelines.
Establish post-deployment monitoring systems and enable continual learning capabilities.
Define appropriate evaluation metrics and set rigorous industry benchmarks.
Stay informed on state-of-the-art techniques and share knowledge regularly with engineering colleagues.

Requirements

Hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a mathematics-related field from a tier-1 engineering institute.
Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional industry experience working in machine learning and natural language processing.
Demonstrate strong programming proficiency in Python and PyTorch, alongside familiarity with libraries such as Transformers and LangChain or LangGraph.
Possess practical, hands-on experience solving text classification, entity tagging, information retrieval, question-answering, natural language generation, and clustering problems.
Show deep familiarity with transformer-based language models like BERT, Llama, Qwen, Gemma, and DeepSeek.
Understand large language model training concepts, model inference optimizations, and GPU usage.
Have concrete experience deploying machine and deep learning models utilizing REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Exhibit solid problem-solving capabilities regarding data structures and algorithms.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their specific machine learning services.
Knowledge of multimodal models and real-time streaming architectures like Kafka and Pub/Sub.
Practical understanding of open-source language models like Mistral.
Basic comprehension of vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering techniques.
Prior contributions to artificial intelligence side projects or public GitHub repositories.
Exposure to vector databases and retrieval pipelines including FAISS and Pinecone.
