Role Overview

Level AI is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help revolutionize customer engagement platforms using advanced artificial intelligence. In this position, the professional will work directly with industry veterans from top technology companies to shape the future of enterprise software. The successful candidate will build advanced AI-driven systems that extract deep insights from customer interactions and empower contact centers globally.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy advanced LLM-powered agents for both internal tools and customer-facing products.
Design, test, and improve Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, and tool integrations.
Experiment extensively with both open-source and closed-source large language models.
Implement and evaluate reasoning, planning, memory, and retrieval modules for intelligent AI agents.
Optimize machine learning and LLM systems to maximize accuracy, minimize latency, ensure scalability, and control costs.
Build production-ready artificial intelligence and NLP pipelines equipped with monitoring, evaluation benchmarks, and continual improvement loops.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ship high-impact features.

Requirements

Hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD degree in computer science or mathematics-related fields from a tier-1 engineering institute.
Possess three or more years of professional industry experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or applied artificial intelligence.
Demonstrate strong programming capabilities using Python.
Bring practical interest and professional experience working with RAG and agentic AI concepts.
Have hands-on experience utilizing PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and related machine learning libraries.
Show experience in model training, inference optimization, and working with GPUs.
Possess experience deploying machine learning services through REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud computing platforms.
Have exposure to vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar technologies.
