About this role

Doctronic is seeking a Senior Director of Implementation to lead enterprise partnership rollouts from signature to go-live in New York City or via hybrid arrangements. This full-time leadership position is tailored for an experienced professional with a background in technical program management who wants to scale delivery infrastructure for an innovative healthcare AI platform.

Role Overview

The Senior Director of Implementation owns everything that happens after a partner signs an agreement. This mandate ensures every signed partnership goes live on time, at high quality, and without relying on engineering heroics. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, the selected candidate will lead a growing team of deployment strategists and solutions engineers organized into delivery pods. The primary success metric is the on-time launch rate, targeting a transition from signature to go-live in under sixty days while acting as the primary escalation path for partners instead of engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the launch of every enterprise partnership from signature to go-live across co-branded deployments, embedded chat, and API integrations.
Build and manage delivery pods consisting of deployment strategists and solutions engineers.
Oversee requirements documents, manage project scope, and route new partner requests through the proper deal desk and product channels.
Manage technical service level agreements and delivery commitments included in every statement of work.
Establish and scale the launch playbook covering internal kickoffs, external kickoffs, building, QA, clinical readiness, go-live, and thirty-day retrospectives.
Execute seamless handoffs from the sales team and ensure alignment before partner kickoffs.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Product Lead to balance bespoke requests with platform capabilities and increase product reuse.
Serve as the main escalation path to protect engineering time and focus.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in implementation, professional services, technical program management, or solutions delivery.
At least 3 years of experience managing people.
Demonstrated history of delivering technical integrations into regulated enterprises such as health systems, payers, pharmacy, or financial services.
Strong technical fluency encompassing APIs, webhooks, SSO, and healthcare data standards like FHIR.
Proven ability to manage difficult client conversations and say no while maintaining strong relationships.
Track record of building processes from scratch rather than administering pre-existing systems.
Exceptional written communication and meeting facilitation skills.
Based in New York City or willing to relocate for this hybrid role.

Nice to Have

Practical experience with FHIR R4, HL7, or direct Epic or Cerner integration.
Background running a pod, squad, or forward-deployed engineering model.
Prior experience in telehealth or clinical workflow delivery.
Familiarity introducing self-service tooling or partner portals to minimize manual onboarding.
Previous ownership of technical SLAs and associated support tiering.
