Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue government partnership opportunities across various European state-owned enterprises, ministries, and public bodies to drive product adoption and generate durable revenue streams.
Cultivate and maintain an extensive network of professional relationships with European government officials, national agencies, and EU institutions.
Collaborate closely with the go-to-market team to promote ElevenLabs services and technology solutions within the public sector.
Establish and nurture strategic alliances with regulators, industry associations, civil society groups, and policymakers at both national and EU levels.
Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to advance public policy goals and advocate for technological advancement.
Monitor, analyze, and advise internal legal and safety teams on emerging regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, DSA, and DMA.
Design and implement impactful policy campaigns, coalition-building efforts, and strategic initiatives that align with company objectives.

Requirements

Ten or more years of professional experience spanning both the public and private sectors, featuring a proven history of forging government relationships that yield commercial or technology adoption outcomes.
A robust and current network of contacts across multiple European markets and major EU institutions, with depth in at least two key European regions.
Comprehensive knowledge of the European AI policy landscape, covering AI governance, safety, copyright, data protection, privacy, and competition.
Demonstrated success in influencing policy outcomes, building coalitions, and designing strategic public policy initiatives across Europe.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities suited for briefing high-level government officials and policymakers.
Complete fluency in English, with additional European languages considered a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

Practical experience opening doors for technology partnerships specifically with government institutions.
Direct familiarity navigating the complex multi-stakeholder landscape of Brussels-based coalitions and EU policymaking.
Fluency in additional European languages beyond English.
