Role Overview

ElevenLabs is expanding globally and managing large enterprise opportunities through structured procurement processes. As a founding member of the new RFP Engine function, the Proposal Manager will own strategic pursuits from qualification to final submission. This role combines high-level editorial judgment with operational coordination across sales, solutions engineering, legal, and security teams. Operating within an AI-first environment, the successful candidate will leverage automation for mechanical drafting and compliance checks while applying human expertise to positioning and differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end strategic enterprise RFP and bid responses from initial qualification to submission.
Decode evaluator requirements and shape response strategies alongside account teams.
Coordinate inputs across multiple cross-functional departments and time zones while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines.
Build and refine automated workflows, turning repeated bid information into scalable templates, content libraries, and processes.
Evaluate scoring criteria to identify winning differentiators and flag pursuits that lack strategic alignment.

Requirements

Proven background in managing complex enterprise RFP or bid responses from start to finish, preferably within a technology organization.
Strong fluency in AI and automation, treating manual repetition as a design flaw and collaborating closely on internal tooling.
Outstanding writing and editing capabilities to synthesize technical and commercial inputs into clear, persuasive documents.
Superior project management skills capable of coordinating diverse contributors and review cycles under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Acute commercial instincts to spot key differentiators and interpret complex scoring guidelines.

Nice to Have

Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
Practical experience handling security or compliance questionnaires.
A technical background or previous pre-sales experience.
