Role Overview

Paytm is seeking a high-ownership Program Manager to oversee AI-driven initiatives within the lending collections landscape. The individual will take charge of unstructured problem statements, transform business needs into production-grade technology solutions, and guide projects from ideation to measurable business impact. This position acts as a vital bridge connecting business stakeholders, product managers, data teams, and engineering units.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and collections stakeholders to pinpoint operational pain points, uncover automation opportunities, and define AI use cases.
Generate comprehensive business requirement documents, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution workflows.
Evaluate and drive Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation solutions tailored for lending collections.
Serve as the primary liaison between business groups and technology teams to ensure clarity during engineering execution.
Manage project trackers, monitor milestones, mitigate risks, and lead regular governance reviews to maintain smooth project delivery.
Utilize SQL independently to fetch, analyze, and validate data necessary for driving informed product and business decisions.

Requirements

Three to four years of relevant experience in project management, program management, business analysis, or technology program management.
Background or strong familiarity within FinTech, lending, banking, collections, or financial services.
Excellent ability to gather requirements and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in creating detailed BRDs, FRDs, workflows, process maps, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience using JIRA for backlog, sprint, and project management.
Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing product flows, wireframes, and user journeys.
Strong understanding of AI, Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and automation use cases.
Working proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

Nice to Have

Practical experience working on AI agents, conversational AI, LLM-powered workflows, RAG, AI copilots, or intelligent automation.
Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions with existing enterprise systems and APIs.
Familiarity with collections technology platforms, dialers, CRM systems, payment gateways, and workflow engines.
Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience defining AI success metrics, evaluation frameworks, and operational KPIs.
An MBA or PGDM degree.
