Role Overview

Paytm is hiring a Product Management professional in Bangalore to own and scale the UPI product charter. This position suits an experienced product leader with a strategic mindset and hands-on building capability looking to impact millions of users in Indian fintech.

Key Responsibilities

Create the vision and multi-year strategy for the UPI product suite to balance scale, reliability, growth, and innovation.
Manage core UPI metrics including transaction success rates, activation, retention, P2P and P2M growth, and market share.
Foster an AI-first product culture by utilizing Generative AI, machine learning risk models, and conversational interfaces to simplify user journeys.
Analyze consumer research, funnel analytics, and cohort data to prioritize product features and challenge assumptions.
Handle stakeholder and partner management with NPCI, banking partners, regulators, and internal teams to maintain compliance and delightful user experiences.
Establish quarterly and annual planning cadences, define measurable OKRs, and maintain accountability for product outcomes.

Requirements

Background in product management within consumer fintech, payments, or high-scale consumer internet products.
Experience owning large consumer-facing products at scale across UPI, wallets, payments, or adjacent fintech spaces.
Ability to dive deep into funnels, cohorts, and experimentation frameworks.
Experience applying AI and machine learning to product challenges like personalization, fraud detection, and workflow automation.
History of building products from scratch and scaling platforms while operating in ambiguous environments.
Familiarity with the UPI ecosystem, NPCI guidelines, bank partnerships, and payment rails.
