Role Overview

Paytm is hiring a full-time AI-First Senior Product Manager for its UPI product team based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This position suits a product professional with at least three years of experience who wants to build next-generation intelligent payment experiences for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for consumer-facing UPI experiences, including onboarding, payments, mandates, and engagement.
Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Generative AI and AI Agents to simplify customer journeys and automate internal workflows.
Design AI-powered experiences such as intelligent assistants, conversational interfaces, and recommendation systems.
Partner with the Design team to build intuitive user experiences and translate customer pain points into actionable opportunities using data.
Prioritize the roadmap based on business value, customer impact, engineering effort, and regulatory requirements.
Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and launch plans.
Drive rapid experimentation through A/B testing and analyze user funnels and behavioral insights to improve metrics.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Customer Support, and Business teams to ensure secure and compliant rollouts.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of product management experience focused on building consumer-facing digital products.
Professional background in Fintech, Payments, Banking, UPI, or AI-powered consumer products.
Strong product thinking, user empathy, and a solid focus on user experience design.
Demonstrated experience utilizing Generative AI to enhance product discovery, execution, documentation, analysis, or customer experience.
Ability to write clear, structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Strong analytical mindset using metrics, customer insights, and experimentation to guide decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous problem statements from discovery to launch.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience designing or implementing AI-assisted workflows, copilots, or agentic product experiences.
Direct experience with UPI Payments including P2P, P2M, Scan and Pay, Intent, AutoPay, and Mandates.
Background in payment success, customer experience optimization, consumer growth, and activation.
Familiarity with AI agents, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering.
Experience in personal finance products, digital banking, wallets, and stored value instruments.
Knowledge of NPCI guidelines, RBI regulations, and payment processing architecture.
