AirOps is looking for a Product Engineer to join the team in New York City or San Francisco. This full-time position suits individuals with a strong background in building zero-to-one product experiences and a passion for AI search technology.

Key Responsibilities

Build, prototype, and release AI-driven solutions addressing genuine user challenges, guiding features from initial concepts to fully scaled production.
Engage directly with clients to comprehend requirements, rapidly test concepts, and refine functionality using real-world user insights.
Partner closely with design, product, and data groups to deliver features rapidly in a startup environment.
Handle uncertainty by establishing the correct product direction when the path forward is unclear.
Ensure software systems remain fast and reliable during active everyday usage.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience creating popular products, with a proven history of launching concepts from scratch.
Demonstrated ability to release features rapidly while sustaining high standards of quality and execution.
Exceptional product judgment combined with profound empathy for user needs.
Ability to excel in fast-paced, shifting environments where customer responses guide product choices.
Superior communication abilities suited for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and implementing it within digital product experiences.
Background using Python alongside robust machine learning or large language model expertise.
Prior experience working with evaluations.
Past involvement in direct client interactions and customer development.
