Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will take charge of purchasing operations at a rapid-growth voice AI platform valued at over $1.5 billion. Reporting to leadership, this position establishes new processes, approval workflows, and policies for corporate spending. Key Responsibilities

Direct corporate procurement operations spanning initial sourcing through contract finalization and renewals.
Drive vendor selection, evaluation, and commercial negotiations for strategic software, infrastructure, and general enterprise spend.
Uncover cost-saving opportunities and champion vendor consolidation initiatives.
Design and implement procurement processes, internal policies, and approval workflows from scratch.
Collaborate closely with Finance and Legal teams to manage contracts, operational budgets, and vendor risk.
Monitor organizational spend data to enhance financial visibility and track vendor costs.
Foster robust vendor partnerships to secure advantageous commercial terms.
Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline procurement speed and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in strategic sourcing, procurement, or purchasing.
Demonstrated expertise in vendor selection and contract negotiations.
Proven track record of managing significant company expenditures exceeding $25 million.
Background working within a fast-paced technology enterprise or startup environment.
Familiarity with technical, software, or SaaS procurement.
Strong analytical capabilities paired with the ability to interpret spend data effectively.
Capability to function autonomously without pre-existing corporate structures.
Experience designing and building procurement workflows or functions from scratch.
Excellent communication skills tailored for cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments.
