Key Responsibilities

Own the backend systems that convert administrative ideas and raw materials into engaging, AI-first training within minutes.
Build content integrations that ingest source materials from third-party systems used by enterprise customers.
Develop the agent framework that powers interactive AI roleplays and content creation workflows for administrators.
Drive AI-powered analysis and analytics features to help customers measure genuine learner improvement.
Set technical direction, architect scalable distributed systems, and mentor other engineering team members.

Requirements

Bring eight or more years of professional development experience building and operating production systems.
Demonstrate deep backend expertise with end-to-end service ownership and technical direction in fast-paced environments.
Possess a track record of designing scalable distributed systems and APIs.
Have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure alongside Infrastructure as Code.
Show proficiency in TypeScript or Python, with strong debugging capabilities for complex distributed systems.
Communicate clearly to lead cross-functional collaborations with product and engineering teams.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or have equivalent professional experience.
Reside in the Greater Seattle Area to meet hybrid office requirements.

Nice to Have

Practical background working with Large Language Models, generative AI, and AI-powered applications.
Familiarity with speech and audio processing technologies.
Experience utilizing NoSQL databases and Kubernetes.
Specific expertise working within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
