About this role

PointClickCare is hiring a full-time Principal Salesforce Architect to work remotely within the United States. This remote role is ideal for an experienced enterprise architecture professional who wants to shape mission-critical healthcare technology applications.

Role Overview

As the Principal Salesforce Architect, you will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and collaborate with IT teams, product groups, and senior executives. Your primary focus will be driving the design of enterprise domain taxonomies and leading the modernization of mission-critical applications. You will champion business and technology alignment, ensuring the creation of robust architectural frameworks that support long-term technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under leadership guidance.
Collaborate with domain architects, engineers, and leaders to build technical standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
Develop and manage technical strategies while coordinating organizational adoption.
Manage the architecture review process by establishing validation checklists and reviewing architectural artifacts.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform.
Design and develop efficient end-to-end solutions for complex business problems while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Manage technical delivery for custom development integrations and data migration elements.
Research and develop Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies and toolkits.
Partner with data and integration architects to ensure data integrity, security, and seamless system communication.
Work closely with business leaders to build capability models aligning technology with organizational needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a senior domain architect or senior enterprise architect.
Prior experience as a Principal Salesforce Architect in a global organization working with Salesforce Connected Apps.
Proven experience designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
Leadership experience on at least two large-scale Product-to-Cash (CPQ/RCA) implementations from design to go-live.
Minimum of 5 years of experience defining Salesforce architecture across quoting, contracting, fulfillment, billing, revenue, customer success, and customer support.
Experience planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation programs.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, or the SuccessFactors ecosystem.
5 years of hands-on enterprise architecture framework experience such as TOGAF, C4, or Archimate.
Strong understanding of security architecture principles, data architecture, and application integration.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with managed packages such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, or Qualtrics.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
Knowledge of Generative AI Code Assistants like GitHub Copilot and the latest Generative AI model capabilities.
