Role Overview

PointClickCare seeks a Principal Salesforce Architect to report directly to the Director of Enterprise Architecture. In this role, the architect will guide the execution of strategic architectural visions, align core business capabilities with modern technologies, and establish technical standards. The professional will manage the architecture review process and ensure optimal technical delivery for complex, enterprise-level B2B SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice and guide cross-functional technology solutions.
Create technical standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and architecture decision frameworks for multi-platform environments.
Translate complex business needs into well-architected Salesforce solutions meeting high standards of scalability and security.
Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements for Salesforce implementations.
Collaborate with data, integration, and solution architects to guarantee seamless communication and data flow across enterprise systems.
Partner with business leaders to build capability models that align technological capabilities with organizational goals.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience functioning as a senior domain architect or senior enterprise architect.
Prior experience as a Principal Salesforce Architect within a global organization utilizing Salesforce Connected Apps.
Proven background designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
At least two large-scale Product-to-Cash implementations managed from design through go-live.
Minimum of 5 years of experience defining Salesforce architecture across quoting, contracting, billing, and customer support.
Five years of hands-on experience utilizing enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, C4, or Archimate.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with managed enterprise apps like Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, or Qualtrics.
Relevant Salesforce certifications including Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect.
Knowledge of Generative AI Code Assistants and latest Generative AI model capabilities.

Skills and Tools

Deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud.
Strong expertise in business capability modeling, security architecture principles, and risk management.
Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication capabilities.

Salary and Benefits

Annual Salary Range: CAD 153,000 to CAD 170,000.
