Role Overview

In this position, the Manager of Software Engineering leads multiple Agile teams to deliver top-tier software solutions. This professional oversees the entire technical design process, driving execution seamlessly from initial concept to post-launch while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and robust engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional developer teams to achieve high performance.
Champion an AI-first culture by encouraging teams to rapidly innovate, experiment, and integrate AI capabilities into products.
Drive the end-to-end delivery of software projects utilizing established Agile methodologies.
Own technical design and architectural choices in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Guarantee high-quality software releases through rigorous process management and technical oversight.
Partner alongside product managers to align development efforts with business priorities and user needs.
Continuously enhance team performance, organizational structure, and overall development practices.
Lead Operational Excellence initiatives to support customer needs and protect patient outcomes.
Represent the company by maintaining deep knowledge of products, technical trends, and industry standards.
Communicate articulately with customers through written and verbal conversations while demonstrating core corporate values.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of software development experience, featuring recent experience acting as a Development Manager or Team Lead.
Strong background in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, release, version control, and deployment management.
Solid practical experience utilizing Agile development methodologies or similar frameworks.
Experience with Java SDK 1.5 or higher, Java Web Applications, Servlets, Servlet Filters, JSP, JSTL, and JDBC.
Familiarity with the Spring Framework 3.x or higher, including Spring MVC.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL query writing, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with web service platforms and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
Deep understanding of Enterprise Software Design.
Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration abilities.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
