Role Overview
Serval is seeking a Head of Associate AE Program to design and lead a selective, cohort-based sales apprenticeship in San Francisco. This full-time position suits an ambitious sales leader with a passion for coaching and building high-performing teams from the ground up in a hyper-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities

Recruit and hire top-tier early-career talent with exceptional grit, coachability, and intellectual horsepower for a founding cohort of four to six associates.
Direct a multi-phase, six to nine-month training program that simultaneously develops future Account Executives and drives active business pipeline.
Coach associates extensively through mock discovery sessions, call reviews, demo certifications, objection handling, and deal strategy.
Manage and track pipeline results across segments, focusing on conversion metrics, speed-to-lead, and outbound effectiveness rather than raw activity.
Create an apprenticeship model that pairs associates with top Account Executives and managers to gradually transition them into managing discovery and smaller deals.
Coordinate company-wide teaching efforts by engaging executives, marketers, and product leaders to deliver training modules.
Partner closely with sales leadership to define graduation criteria, conduct readiness reviews, and place graduates into closing roles.
Establish program economics, forecasting models, and operating rhythms connected to future Account Executive demand.
Collaborate with marketing to elevate the program's employer brand through recruiting events and university partnerships.
Requirements
Five or more years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
Minimum of two years leading and developing early-career sales, SDR, or BDR organizations.
Direct background as a quota-carrying Account Executive, preferably starting through an SDR pathway to teach full-cycle sales strategies.

Deep focus on pipeline metrics, forecasting, CRM discipline, and conversion data analysis.
Strong coaching capabilities paired with experience creating training curriculums, enablement programs, or certifications.
High standards for talent acquisition and strong instincts for identifying raw potential.
Professional credibility to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and sales teams.
Experience selling to technical buyers in engineering, security, or IT, or coaching representatives who do.
Availability to work on-site in San Francisco five days a week.
