Key Responsibilities

Partner with Banyan and an existing operating company to identify and validate a high-conviction, AI-native product opportunity adjacent to their core business.
Stand up a new company from the ground up, including product, team, go-to-market strategy, and culture, built AI-first from day one.
Take the product from zero toward meaningful recurring revenue using the domain expertise, source code, data, and customer relationships of the partner business.
Build lean by creating a sellable product rather than just a demo without managing a large team.
Operate with full accountability for the financial performance, growth, and product of the new venture.
Work in close partnership with affiliated operating company leadership and Banyan's central team while avoiding legacy constraints.

Requirements

Demonstrated zero-to-one experience taking a product from zero to meaningful initial revenue, specifically around $1M ARR.
Hands-on builder mentality as an engineer who enjoys creative problem solving and product strategy.
AI-native thinker capable of building AI-first products and delivery models from the start.
Founder DNA marked by urgency, full ownership of outcomes, and comfort with ambiguity and limited resources.
Deep product instincts and a product-led background with hands-on shaping of what gets built.
Ability to understand and quickly absorb the vertical market being entered.
Early-stage startup experience ranging from seed to Series A.
