Key Responsibilities

Lead the engineering delivery of onboarding platforms across international markets including the UK, India, Germany, and France.
Own the technical direction and execution of systems handling member sign-ups, verification, and account setups.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers while establishing clear technical standards and operational rigor.
Collaborate closely with product, business, KYX, IAM, MEM, finance, marketing, and compliance stakeholders.
Balance rapid market entry with security, efficiency, compliance, and system reliability.

Requirements

Possess 10+ years of extensive experience building server-side applications with detailed knowledge of Java.
Bring sound knowledge of backend frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
Demonstrate experience running microservices and implementing or consuming RESTful APIs.
Have a background in engineering scalable and reliable cloud-native solutions.
Show a commitment to delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software with full lifecycle ownership.
Possess experience integrating with third-party providers and partners.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and working experience with relational databases.
Leverage AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery velocity.
Work effectively in an agile environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Apply continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices in daily development.
Act as a hands-on technical leader who stays involved in the daily details of team projects.
Bring direct experience leading and managing people.
