The role suits an experienced platform engineer who wants to define shared capabilities like context, orchestration, and trust controls for a global financial technology leader.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the overarching architecture for Tide's agentic platform and shared services such as context APIs, tool layers, and policy controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional product, data, security, and engineering teams to transform use cases into reusable platform capabilities.
Establish benchmarks for reliability, scalability, safety, and developer experience across the organization.
Provide technical guidance to multiple teams and resolve complex technical hurdles.
Create cost-management and routing mechanisms to optimize large language model spending among various providers.
Build automated evaluation workflows to assess agent reasoning accuracy and safety outcomes.

Requirements

Extensive background in constructing large-scale platform or infrastructure systems.
Solid decision-making abilities spanning cloud-native architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and data management.
Demonstrated success in resolving intricate cross-team technical challenges.
Familiarity with integrating third-party platforms while maintaining architectural ownership and control.
Solid grasp of security, reliability, and observability principles.
Experience working within heavily regulated sectors like fintech or healthtech.
