Role Overview

The Director of Product Management oversees Absorb's core product management group, setting the operating rhythm and driving delivery focus. Key priorities for this position include accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across product workflows and deepening the strategic capabilities of every product manager. The individual in this role will cultivate a customer-focused environment aligned with broad business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Translate overarching corporate strategy into actionable pod-level roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
Build, mentor, and scale a product management team operating across flexible and specialized pods.
Partner closely with Product Design, Development, Customer Success, and Principal Product Managers to ensure cohesive product delivery.
Establish product operations, governance frameworks, and data-driven decision-making processes.
Champion the voice of the customer using qualitative and quantitative signals to guide product innovation.
Manage resource allocation across multiple pods while balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform investments.
Define and implement a practical vision for integrating AI tools into every stage of product discovery, research, and roadmapping.

Requirements

Ten or more years of product management experience within a B2B SaaS environment.
Five or more years of leadership experience managing high-performing product managers at the Director level or higher.
Proven history of translating company goals into product portfolios and successful business results across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated expertise in product operating models, roadmap planning, and Agile governance.
Hands-on experience driving AI adoption within product teams to enhance delivery efficiency and decision-making.

Nice to Have

Background leading product teams within enterprise software, learning technology, or HR technology sectors.
Experience scaling product organizations through rapid growth, platform modernization, or organizational transformation.
Holding an MBA or an equivalent combination of leadership, technology, and business experience.
