Role Overview

In this capacity, team members bridge the gap between engineering, product, and go-to-market operations. The position involves working directly with client engineering teams to transition artificial intelligence concepts from initial proofs of concept into dependable production systems. Candidates will address complex applied AI challenges and channel real-world insights back into the core platform.

Key Responsibilities

Co-architect and co-build production-grade AI agents alongside external customer engineering teams.
Secure technical wins during pre-sales by designing proofs of concept, addressing deep technical inquiries, and leading evaluations.
Assist organizations in launching and maintaining agent-based applications, including conversational systems, research agents, and multi-step workflows.
Provide post-sale guidance regarding architecture, best practices, and strategic roadmap choices.
Create and execute custom demonstrations, training sessions, and developer workshops.
Document reusable patterns, cookbooks, and sample code derived from field feedback.
Communicate closely with internal engineering, product, and design teams to influence product direction.
Contribute upstream code occasionally to enhance customer outcomes.
Travel to customer locations up to 40% of the time for onboarding, deployment, and ongoing technical support.

Requirements

Possess 1 to 3 years of background in software engineering, solutions engineering, customer engineering, or founding engineering, preferably within high-growth or startup environments.
Demonstrate strong fundamentals in Python, JavaScript, and systems architecture.
Bring hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered or agent-based applications beyond basic API calls, such as multi-step orchestration and failure management.
Exhibit robust technical communication abilities to explain tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences.
Maintain a strong sense of ownership for project outcomes rather than just giving recommendations.
Show a natural bias toward action and comfort with rapid problem-solving.

Nice to Have

Prior experience deploying AI agents to production using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.
Familiarity with LLM guardrails, evaluation, or observability systems.
Practical knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, alongside containers and Kubernetes.
Experience shipping and managing production software under realistic operational constraints.

Salary and Benefits

The annual on-target earnings (OTE) range is $160,000 to $175,000 USD, supplemented by competitive compensation structures that include base salary, variable pay, equity, and perks.
