Role Overview

ElevenLabs is seeking an experienced professional to lead its global compensation and total rewards strategy from the United Kingdom on a remote basis. This role suits a strategic thinker who is energized by building scalable pay and equity systems for a fast-growing frontier AI company. Operating across more than 46 countries, the successful candidate will partner directly with Operations, Finance, and Legal to shape compensation architecture that attracts and retains top global talent.

Key Responsibilities

Own, refine, and execute ElevenLabs' global compensation philosophy, balancing market competitiveness with internal equity and strict financial discipline.
Design and evolve job architectures and leveling frameworks that introduce necessary rigor across 46+ countries without adding bureaucracy.
Shape and manage equity programs, grant strategies, refresh cycles, and promotion grants to ensure employees remain genuine company owners.
Manage end-to-end annual compensation reviews, design off-cycle governance frameworks, and introduce AI-enabled workflows to improve operational speed.
Oversee the global benefits strategy to ensure offerings remain competitive in frontier talent markets while scaling across a distributed workforce.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in Compensation or Total Rewards.
Prior background within high-growth technology companies operating across multiple international jurisdictions.
Demonstrated ownership and management of corporate equity programs.
Proven track record of successfully building, designing, and evolving job architectures and leveling systems.
Comfortable operating within fast-scaling, ambiguous, and high-velocity environments.

Skills and Tools

First-principles thinking to approach complex compensation challenges without bias.
Ability to act as a hands-on builder capable of designing total reward systems completely from scratch.
Strong analytical capabilities to translate intricate data into clear, strategic recommendations.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
High personal standards, extreme ownership, and a readiness to make high-impact decisions.
