Role Overview

ElevenLabs is looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead and manage its US commercial team. Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer contracts and GTM sales agreements across North America.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and business development units to build scalable go-to-market strategies.
Track and analyze legal updates concerning artificial intelligence, technology, and data protection to inform risk assessment and contract design.
Direct a lean team of US lawyers and contract managers working across diverse segments and time zones.
Build and localize contract playbooks, policies, and templates aligned with regional needs and industry standards.
Deliver practical, commercial legal advice to various teams to promote responsible innovation and expansion.
Help scale the commercial wing of the legal department while cultivating a collaborative and solution-driven culture.

Requirements

Possess a J.D. degree and maintain active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar, with New York or CA preference.
Bring 8 or more years of relevant post-qualification legal experience, ideally including in-house technology or SaaS tenure.
Demonstrate previous player-coach experience in managing a team.
Show a proven background in negotiating and drafting complex technology and commercial contracts.
Exhibit deep familiarity with enterprise software licensing, SaaS models, intellectual property, and data protection.
Offer experience handling cybersecurity, privacy, and cross-border data transfer challenges.
