Role Overview

The Clinical Product Manager sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, product management, and partner success. The professional in this position will translate complex medical needs into scalable artificial intelligence solutions for internal clinics and a growing network of clinical partners. The role requires medical expertise, proven product leadership, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and clinical operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap for clinical pathways by defining and prioritizing features for safe, effective artificial intelligence care delivery.
Design and iterate on clinical workflows covering urgent care, primary care, chronic disease management, and medication management.
Translate clinical requirements into detailed product specifications for artificial intelligence and context engineering teams.
Serve as the primary liaison for new clinical partners by leading discovery sessions and understanding unique workflow requirements.
Develop customized pathway configurations to adapt the platform to specific partner environments while maintaining product consistency.
Collaborate daily with engineering and clinical operations to bring medical products from concept to deployment.
Define success metrics, evaluation frameworks, and coordinate with compliance and legal teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Hold an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, with completed residency strongly preferred and post-residency clinical practice experience ideal.
Bring a deep understanding of clinical decision-making, care delivery workflows, and physician needs, ideally in urgent care, primary care, emergency medicine, or internal medicine.
Possess 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare technology or digital health.
Demonstrate the ability to own product roadmaps from strategy through execution, write user stories, and ship products requiring cross-functional coordination.
Understand artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, electronic health record systems, clinical data standards like HL7 and FHIR, and healthcare interoperability.
Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice to Have

Previous experience working at healthcare technology companies, digital health startups, or health systems innovation teams.
Background in clinical informatics or health IT implementation.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare data privacy, and FDA regulations for clinical software.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, large language models, or artificial intelligence system development.
An MBA or other business and product training.
