Role Overview

This executive position serves as the Chief Executive Officer for M3 Informática in Madrid, Spain, reporting directly to a Banyan Operating Leader with complete operational authority. This opportunity suits an experienced, product-led vertical SaaS leader with deep knowledge of the Spanish public sector who is ready to guide the company through its next chapter of growth and international ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Own the strategic direction, P&L accountability, market positioning, and competitive response within the Spanish public sector vertical SaaS market.
Act as the primary executive relationship owner for key public sector clients, driving high retention, contract renewals, and strategic partnerships across regional ministries.
Oversee the product roadmap at a strategic level, championing AI-first product thinking to create durable competitive advantages through automation and intelligent workflows.
Direct all financial performance, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management across operations and contracts.
Build and lead a high-performing leadership team, establishing execution cadences and accountability frameworks that support sustainable profitability.

Requirements

Backed by 7 to 10+ years of senior leadership experience at a Spanish software or technology company.
Direct responsibility for selling to, managing, or delivering solutions to Spanish public administrations.
Strategic credibility in Spanish public procurement, including LCSP and licitaciones, with the ability to lead senior renewal and tender conversations personally.
Experience leading an organization through a meaningful inflection point, such as a founder transition, pricing repositioning, or commercial professionalization.
Demonstrated success in building or professionalizing a commercial function from zero in a small-to-mid-sized Spanish software business.
Proven AI conviction through shipped product capability, operational tooling, or sustained experimentation.
Fluent in both business-level Spanish and business-level English for daily operations.
Based in or near Madrid with the ability to commit to 3 to 4 days per week on-site initially.

Salary and Benefits
