The AI Product Quality Specialist works closely with a senior engineering team that is shipping products rapidly. This role exists to triage user feedback, resolve software bugs, and maintain tight product quality so leadership can remain focused on building the next wave of features. The person in this position will dive directly into the codebase to submit fixes, interpret ambiguous user reports, and use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code to accelerate daily workflows.
Ideal candidates bring a builder-first mindset, sharp product instincts, and the ability to operate independently without a rigid, pre-existing process. Because the scope of the position can evolve based on performance and business needs, strong judgment and consistent output open pathways toward broader product development and client-facing work.
What you will do
- Work through reported product issues with speed and precision by examining the codebase, submitting code fixes, and validating changes before release.
- Analyze user feedback to uncover underlying root causes, separating critical blockers from minor noise.
- Monitor ongoing product quality to flag systemic patterns and edge cases before they impact the user experience.
- Leverage Claude Code and other AI development tools to increase speed and output without compromising practical judgment.
- Communicate clear, specific updates to cross-functional teammates regarding active bugs, resolutions, and unresolved items.
- Maintain institutional knowledge by documenting recurring issues, edge cases, and implemented fixes.
What you need
- Bring hands-on experience working on software products in a quality assurance, product, or technical support capacity.
- Demonstrate practical experience building or experimenting with Claude Code to accelerate technical tasks.
- Show a proven track record of resolving product issues independently without requiring constant supervision.
- Possess sufficient UX understanding to accurately evaluate user complaints and distinguish between real usability flaws and surface-level issues.
- Communicate clearly in writing to keep product leads informed and enable fast decision-making.
- Demonstrate comfort working autonomously without detailed processes in place.
