The team ships rapidly and needs someone to triage product issues, monitor user experience, and keep quality tight so leadership can stay focused on the next build. This role exists because fast-moving senior teams need an independent operator with sharp product instincts to separate signal from noise in user feedback and resolve roadblocks quickly. An ideal candidate possesses hands-on technical experience, strong product taste, and the ability to use AI tooling like Claude Code to accelerate output without sacrificing quality.
What you will do
- Work through product issues reported by users with speed and precision by digging into the codebase, submitting fixes, and validating them before release.
- Read between the lines of user reports to identify underlying problems rather than just surface complaints, prioritizing accordingly.
- Maintain a running pulse on the user experience across products to flag patterns and systemic issues before they compound.
- Test changes, check relevant edge cases, and confirm that original reported workflows function properly before closing an issue.
- Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to move faster and resolve challenges efficiently while applying critical human judgment.
- Communicate crisply with cross-functional teammates by providing specific updates regarding what is broken, fixed, or needs attention.
- Document fixes, edge cases, and recurring issues to build institutional knowledge over time.
What you need
- Hands-on experience working on software products in a quality assurance, product, or technical support role.
- Demonstrated experience building or experimenting with Claude Code and applying AI tooling to accelerate real work.
- A track record of resolving product issues quickly and independently without requiring constant oversight.
- The ability to analyze user feedback, extract signal from noise, and recognize genuine user experience problems.
- Clear written communication skills for escalating issues effectively to product leads.
- Comfort working without a detailed pre-existing process while creating personal systems for managing volume.
