Role Overview

ClickHouse seeks an AI Operations Engineer to join a newly formed function within IT Operations, helping centralize artificial intelligence operations across the entire organization. Working under a Technical Lead, the specialist will design, build, and maintain automated workflows and agents for departments such as engineering, legal, finance, and people operations. This hands-on position requires shipping real workflows rapidly while establishing foundational practices for governance, training, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy LLM-based solutions, automation frameworks, and internal tooling for both business and engineering use cases.
Integrate artificial intelligence into existing enterprise systems including HRIS, ATS, ERP, ticketing, CI/CD pipelines, and CLM infrastructure.
Construct workflows covering document generation, data extraction, knowledge retrieval, and decision support.
Test and benchmark AI models against criteria for accuracy, latency, cost, and safety while supporting risk assessments with security teams.
Build dashboards, reporting mechanisms, tagging, and monitoring alerts for LLM spend tracking and optimization.
Provision, credential, version, patch, and decommission agent infrastructure while maintaining audit trails.
Design and deliver company-wide training programs, playbooks, workshops, and onboarding sessions to improve organizational fluency.

Requirements

Experience building with modern artificial intelligence and machine learning tools and frameworks.
Background in building and consuming APIs, developing data pipelines, and architecting system integrations.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure with production hosting experience.
Familiarity with comparing AI models across providers based on cost, latency, and quality trade-offs.
Comfort analyzing usage and billing data to construct cost visibility, forecasting, and optimization strategies.
Understanding of data privacy, security, compliance, and identity access controls for automated actors.
