Role Overview

The Glance TV Product and UX team in Bengaluru is seeking a UX Design Intern to collaborate with experienced designers on innovative connected TV products. This internship suits a creative design student or recent graduate eager to build practical experience in large-screen user experience and generative AI shopping platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute directly to user experience and visual design elements, covering shopping cards, brand stores, editorial layouts, ambient surfaces, and agent interactions on the TV canvas.
Design comprehensive flows, manage various states, and address edge cases for both live features and upcoming product releases.
Help shape, build, and maintain the internal design system, including reusable components, UI patterns, and detailed documentation.
Take part in active design critiques, visual explorations, and team reviews alongside lead, visual, and motion designers.
Support the design handoff process and collaborate closely with engineering teams through to the final shipping stage.

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a design student or functioning as a recent graduate with a robust portfolio.
Portfolio must demonstrate problem-framing capabilities and design craft rather than solely aesthetic outcomes.
Demonstrated curiosity about user interaction, human behavior, and practical product usage.
Strong systems thinking aptitude, with a keen eye for patterns, consistency, and scalable components.
A hands-on maker disposition with a genuine desire to ship, iterate, and build real solutions.

Nice to Have

Prior interest or background in artificial intelligence, ambient computing, or the TV and large-screen medium.
