This team member will manage day-to-day operations for the AI Governance Charter, keeping track of model inventories and partnering across business units to evaluate risks.
The role exists to ensure that generative AI tools and intelligent shopping agents remain compliant, properly classified, and aligned with evolving regulatory standards. Success in this position requires a blend of conceptual AI literacy, strong policy writing skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
What you will do
- Drive governance lifecycle management activities for AI Agents and AI Use Cases.
- Participate in controls evaluation and risk & controls self-assessments.
- Partner closely with Business Unit Risk, TPRM, Technology, and peer governance teams to ensure coordinated execution.
- Assist in developing governance workflows, inventory management, and reporting activities.
- Maintain and enhance centralized repositories used to track AI models and AI-enabled solutions.
- Support other functions in running their AI use cases while ensuring they understand guardrails and charters.
- Monitor evolving AI regulations, standards, and trends to integrate them into governance work plans.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Law, Public Policy, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI governance, technology governance, AI risk management, model governance, compliance, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity governance, or Responsible AI.
- AI-literate without being a developer, able to understand how AI and ML systems work and translate risks like bias, hallucination, and data leakage into governance language.
- Familiarity with emerging AI regulations and standards such as NIST AI RMF, FS AI RMF, EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing AI governance frameworks, conducting risk assessments, supporting regulatory compliance, and implementing Responsible AI principles.
- Excellent analytical thinking, policy writing, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and written English skills.
- A collaborative, self-directed working style comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
