Role Overview

The SDE II - Gen AI position at Glance involves working across generative artificial intelligence, model fine-tuning, optimization, and on-device deployment for mobile operating systems. The selected engineer handles tasks ranging from initial dataset preparation to runtime optimization on consumer hardware, keeping constraints such as memory, latency, and thermal limits in mind.

Key Responsibilities

Handle image generation, virtual try-on, identity-preserving, and reference-based generation.
Execute LoRA training, fine-tuning, personalization, and adapter-based techniques.
Conduct PyTorch-based training and experimentation using diffusion and transformer-based architectures.
Manage dataset preparation, training pipelines, and evaluation.
Convert models and deploy them using ONNX and ONNX Runtime.
Optimize inference using TensorRT and quantization methods like FP16, INT8, and INT4.
Deploy models on-device for iOS via Core ML and for Android using TFLite, LiteRT, or ONNX Runtime.
Perform performance profiling and debugging across CPU, GPU, NPU, and Apple Neural Engine.
Reduce inference latency, peak memory usage, and model footprint.
Build production-ready model pipelines spanning from training to device deployment.

Requirements

Possess two to five years of professional experience.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and deep learning fundamentals.
Show hands-on experience with computer vision and generative AI.
Exhibit experience in training or fine-tuning image-generation models.
Understand LoRA, model optimization, and quantization.
Bring strong knowledge of inference runtimes such as ONNX, TensorRT, Core ML, TFLite, LiteRT, or ONNX Runtime.
Maintain robust debugging, profiling, and software engineering skills.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with architectures like FLUX, Stable Diffusion, SDXL, ControlNet, IP-Adapter, VAE, and CLIP.
Experience with CUDA, GPU optimization, Metal, Apple Neural Engine, Android NNAPI, or GPU delegates.
Programming knowledge in C++, Swift, or Kotlin.
Background in distributed or multi-GPU training.
Practice in model compression, pruning, and knowledge distillation.
