Role Overview
This position acts as an organizational architect and tech lead reporting directly to the Director of Contributor Engineering. The professional in this role operates across multiple contributor teams including allocation, growth, pay, trust, safety, and security. Instead of focusing on a single domain, the engineer deploys dynamically into priority projects to unblock teams, ship mission-critical initiatives, and guide the long-term architectural evolution of the technology stack to make it fully AI-native.

Eligible roles at Scale include base salary, equity compensation subject to board approval, and comprehensive benefits. The base salary range for this full-time position located in San Francisco and New York is $252,000 to $315,000 USD, determined by factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Additional benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, learning and development stipends, generous paid time off, and potential commuter stipends.
