Key Responsibilities

Define the iOS architecture, modular boundaries, and native engineering patterns to ensure applications are fast, secure, and scalable.
Lead hands-on iOS system design to solve complex product and platform challenges using modern Apple platform practices.
Improve reliability and delivery confidence by shaping testing automation, observability, rollout practices, and AI-enabled validation.
Collaborate with Android, backend, product, and design teams to establish clear mobile-facing system contracts and API behaviors.
Raise mobile-system judgment across teams by turning complex technical work into reusable standards and engineering guidelines.

Requirements

Extensive expertise in modern production iOS architecture with a history of setting technical standards for platforms or native mobile domains.
Familiarity with Android principles to help guide cross-functional architecture decisions involving backend, web, and product choices.
Experience designing mobile-facing platform contracts, API behaviors, or backend service boundaries that enhance native product quality.
Ability to read, debug, and make targeted contributions to backend systems when necessary to support mobile outcomes.
Background in shaping AI-enabled engineering systems to improve validation, product quality, and delivery confidence for mobile solutions.
Strong reliability and release-quality judgment across production mobile environments.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and transform complex system work into clear, reusable patterns.
Strong product judgment and communication skills to connect technical choices to customer outcomes.

Nice to Have

Experience building Apple-platform product experiences across varied form factors such as iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or CarPlay.
Familiarity with enterprise mobile environments, including identity, device management, compliance, and MDM/MAM security constraints.
Experience establishing mobile design-system foundations and design-to-code workflows that support development velocity and AI-assisted UI generation.
