Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the Excel plugin strategy to bring AI-powered market intelligence straight into the workflows of analysts and investors.
Build seamless integrations that eliminate context-switching between research platforms and spreadsheet tools.
Establish technical foundations, architectural patterns, and development best practices for office integrations.
Mentor engineering team members on the unique performance and operational challenges of desktop development.
Deliver performant, highly reliable applications equipped with robust error handling and recovery mechanisms.

Requirements

Ten or more years of professional experience building and operating large-scale production systems.
Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern software development practices.
Strong command of asynchronous programming, state management, and event-driven architectural designs.
Proven track record with enterprise software deployment, version management, and updates.
Demonstrated ability to debug complex integration challenges and optimize memory and performance.

Nice to Have

Production-level background with Office JavaScript API, VSTO, or COM add-ins.
Familiarity with the Excel calculation engine, object model, and common power-user patterns.
Understanding of financial modeling workflows, data analysis, or trading systems.
Proficiency with React and modern frontend web frameworks.
Experience creating offline-capable applications that feature synchronization mechanisms.
Background handling WebSockets, real-time data feeds, or streaming architectures.
