Role Overview

In this capacity, you will transform how AI-powered systems operate at a massive scale by bringing world-class engineering standards to production. Working closely with researchers and machine learning experts, your mission is to ensure that cutting-edge AI innovations run reliably for thousands of enterprise clients. You will enjoy significant autonomy to shape technical architecture while mentoring talented developers and implementing robust operational practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement distributed systems capable of handling thousands of requests per hour for AI agents while maintaining cost-efficiency and high performance.
Establish thorough testing protocols, continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and advanced observability systems to proactively catch issues.
Mentor motivated engineers, sharing vital knowledge on building stable production environments.
Own the technical roadmap for the AI platform, driving architectural choices that secure long-term system health.
Bridge the gap between research and production by collaborating with ML teams to deploy cutting-edge AI features securely.

Requirements

Bring seven or more years of professional experience building and operating distributed systems in live production environments.
Demonstrate a strong history of improving system reliability and driving services toward high uptime.
Possess deep expertise in modern software practices, including microservices, containerization tools like Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
Show a background in leading technical initiatives, guiding projects, and mentoring engineering peers.
Exhibit strong coding abilities with the versatility to work across the entire technology stack.
Excel at debugging complex production issues and designing comprehensive system observability.
Practice pragmatic decision-making, balancing the need for speed with high software quality.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience developing large language model applications, agent frameworks, or specialized AI and machine learning infrastructure.
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, retrieval-augmented generation patterns, and vector databases.
Prior background working within high-growth organizations or modern engineering cultures.
Experience dealing with multi-model artificial intelligence systems from major providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
