Role Overview

The Sr UX Designer at Glance in Bangalore shapes the future of AI-powered commerce and digital discovery on mobile and TV surfaces. This role suits a mature product designer who can bring structural clarity to complex challenges and translate machine-learning capabilities into seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the design custodian for end-to-end commerce and highlight experiences, identifying critical user problems and simplifying complex product capabilities.
Work hands-on across user flows, interaction frameworks, layout structures, and high-fidelity prototyping while maintaining systemic scalability.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams to balance human intuition with business metrics.
Establish clear design structures and mentor a talented cohort of mid-level and junior designers from interaction and visual backgrounds.
Act as an internal champion for user-centred design paradigms across the InMobi Group and represent Glance at global design forums.

Requirements

A proven portfolio of shipped, complex consumer-facing work demonstrating strong product thinking and refined interaction craft active in the market at scale.
Deep command over information architecture, interface hierarchy, cognitive load management, and multi-state system flows.
Native understanding of interactive and structural design paradigms unique to the Android operating system and mobile-first ecosystem layers.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentational skills to align senior executives on design strategy.

Nice to Have

Experience designing consumer products where deep personalisation, algorithmic recommendation feeds, or rich-media discovery spaces drive user retention and conversion.
Background in high-velocity, high-ambiguity product environments with experience establishing design guidelines or mentoring junior design talent.
A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Post-Graduate degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Information Design, or Visual Communication.
