Interns own real, shipped features on the same roadmaps as full-time engineers rather than working on isolated side projects. Daily work involves collaborating with mentors to build data pipelines, design UI/UX tooling, and develop AI infrastructure products for large-scale operations.
What you will do
- Build reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines that support frontier model development.
- Develop evaluation infrastructure to measure model reliability for enterprise and public sector customers.
- Ship agentic AI applications alongside observability, testability, and deployment tooling.
- Create optimized UI/UX tooling combined with machine learning algorithms for high-volume contributors.
- Devise advanced matching algorithms to pair contributors with customers for optimal turnaround and accuracy.
- Build fraud-detection systems that remove bad actors and protect the contributor base.
What you need
- Must be graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Available for a Summer 2027 internship starting in May or June.
- Demonstrated product engineering experience including building full-stack web applications and integrating with relevant APIs.
- Previous computer science or software engineering internship experience.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality products and features while building systems that process large volumes of data.
- Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, evaluations, or agentic systems from coursework, research, or personal projects
