As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, the hire will build orchestration systems, design security controls, and ship production-ready agent capabilities. Success in this position requires a strong background in software engineering, practical Python knowledge, and a solid understanding of application and infrastructure security.
What you will do
- Build autonomous security agents that perform alert triage, secure code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment.
- Develop agent orchestration systems that help security practitioners automate repetitive security tasks.
- Design and implement agent security controls to ensure AI agents can safely interact with sensitive enterprise data.
- Create the security infrastructure that allows agents to operate in high-trust environments with stringent deployment requirements.
- Ship production-ready agent capabilities that run efficiently in resource-constrained environments.
- Research and implement novel security patterns for AI agent systems, sometimes requiring custom solutions where standard libraries fall short.
- Conduct security testing of both the built agents and the platform that runs them.
What you need
- Bring five or more years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping user-facing security features.
- Demonstrate strong Python development skills with significant production experience.
- Possess experience building or working with autonomous systems, AI agents, or intelligent automation.
- Maintain a solid understanding of security principles including session management, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Analyze security across multiple layers including application security, agent behavior security, and infrastructure security.
- Work comfortably across the full stack while diving into unfamiliar codebases to understand and fix issues.
