Role Overview

The Software Engineer, Integrations role at Cohere is a full-time position focused on building and maintaining enterprise AI tool integrations across Europe on a remote or office-aligned basis. Key Responsibilities

Build new integrations and tools on the North agentic platform while maintaining existing production features.
Own the complete integration pipeline from initial design through shipping to ongoing maintenance.
Enable other engineers by helping them add their own integrations and raising overall team standards.
Develop evaluations and tests to ensure integrations function correctly and trigger alerts for regressions.
Tune tool descriptions to optimize performance based on feedback and evaluations.
Utilize AI actively in daily work while maintaining accountability for the reliability and quality of shipped code.

Requirements

Experience shipping production code and building integrations against external APIs.
Background in evaluating agentic systems, or familiarity with evaluations, prompt engineering, and tool-description tuning.
Ability to excel in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
High agency, quick learning capabilities, and the drive to enact change without waiting for explicit instructions.
History of owning projects end-to-end with a strong focus on quality.
Enjoyment in supporting other engineers to succeed alongside independent delivery.

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary ranging from 215,000 to 270,000 CAD.
Weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or local currency equivalent.
