Role Overview

Rogo is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join its engineering team in New York City on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for an experienced, ambitious developer with at least five years of industry background who wants to build cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools for the global finance sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and launch major product features across the entire technology stack.
Collaborate closely with users and the Customer Success team to gather actionable feedback.
Partner with cross-functional teammates and domain experts to architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems.
Implement robust software components that keep the platform at the forefront of large language model capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality code rapidly.
Extensive professional knowledge of React and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience deploying production code utilizing Python, NextJS, NestJS, Docker, AWS, and Tailwind.
Strong interest in crafting unique user experiences and advanced artificial intelligence tools.
Familiarity with updating codebases using modern framework features such as React Server Components and streaming.
Exceptional attention to detail paired with a proven track record in comparable roles.
Self-directed work ethic with the drive to handle projects end-to-end and take complete ownership.

Nice to Have

Background working at a leading artificial intelligence research institution.
Prior experience as an early engineer at a hyper-growth startup.
Experience working within world-class product organizations like Notion or Figma.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for early-stage companies and startups.
Practical experience involving UI/UX and product design.
