Role Overview

The Senior Accountant acts as the internal owner for the month-end close cycle across both US and international business entities at Rogo. This position focuses heavily on controls, reviews, operational ownership, and establishing a documented runbook rather than routine data entry. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the professional in this role coordinates local accounting providers and ensures rigorous financial governance as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain entity-level books for both domestic and international operations, completing the month-end close according to US GAAP and corporate deadlines alongside local providers.
Generate local-to-US GAAP bridge support while assisting with local statutory accounts and regulatory filings.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and the fixed asset register.
Process intercompany billing and settlements while supporting transfer pricing entries.
Supervise the outsourced accounts payable specialist by handling vendor onboarding, W-9 and W-8 compliance, coding reviews, approval routing, payment run controls, AP accruals, and aging reports.
Coordinate payroll accounting and reconciliation duties for domestic and international entities.
Assist with external audits through detailed reconciliations, preparation of PBC items, and process walkthroughs.

Requirements

Three or more years of progressive accounting experience.
Solid understanding of US GAAP alongside working familiarity with local statutory accounting frameworks.
Demonstrated reconciliation discipline, strong documentation habits, and prior audit support experience.
Proficiency with modern ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
A CPA designation is preferred.

Nice to Have

Foundational audit background from a Big 4 or national accounting firm combined with industry close experience.
Multi-entity and multi-currency close exposure within a high-growth or multinational corporate setting.
Experience managing outsourced service providers or shared-services teams.
Exposure to intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
Genuine interest in leveraging automation and AI-assisted workflows for financial closes.
